Summary:
Nina will talk about the culture of astronomy and stars in the quilting arts while sharing numerous quilted star designs.
Speaker Bio:
Nina is an amateur astronomer and a quilter. Nina is a long time member of the Omaha Astronomical Society and was just recently re-elected as club Treasurer. Nina is an active member of the Nebraska Star Party planning committee. Nina was a vital part of the successful 2013 Mid-States Regional Astronomical League Convention. Under clear dark skies Nina enjoys her recently purchased ten inch dobsonian telescope.
