Ok, while I wasn't specifically mentioned...does the President really need to state the obvious...as a recruiter there's little doubt where I stand on the adminstration's list of unfriendly foreign states. But enough of the jocularity, my office recruits exclusively in the Optics industry. Most of my clients are the usual suspects in the world of military and government contracting. Currently (today's date: 7/17/03) I have 4 job reqs for Master/Sr. Opticians. Immediate needs exist in Colorado, Massachusetts and New Jersey. For Co and NJ a background in laser optics and non-linear crystal polishing/super polishing is required. My client in Massachusetts develops IR optical components for remote sensing systems out of traditional IR materials like Ge, Be, ZnS, ZnSe, CaF, MgF etc. Salaries for these positions range from 30K for neophytes to 80K for master opticians.
