I am restoring a 1978 Cave 8" f7 I bought a couple of years ago from a guy who never used it. The optics were good but I had the mirror re-figured from one of the original mirror makers from cave Ed Beck. Now its excellent. The mount is in good condition but the tube had some dings in it. I would like to replace the tube if I can because its one of the later tubes made not from fiberglass but rolled cardboard. Where can I get a better tube from. If I buy a Parks tube I will also need to get a new mirror cell plus the rotating rings because the diameters are different on the tubes.
