The mirror was tested by a very experienced amateur astronomer who tested 100's of mirrors, he knows what he's doing... anyway, I just wish I could wake up from this nightmare...
The only thing I don't understand is how a bad mirror like that went through?
Will keep you posted on future developements

: Sorry to hear about the test on your mirror. Are you sure about the results? I've owned a couple of Caves and have looked thru about a dozen and all produced excellent images. In fact our observatory has a 12.5" F7 Cave that produces better views of the planets than does our 23" Alvan Clarke refractor.
