Hi Gaetan,
Sorry to hear about the test on your mirror. Are you sure about the results? I've owned a couple of Caves and have looked thru about a dozen and all produced excellent images. In fact our observatory has a 12.5" F7 Cave that produces better views of the planets than does our 23" Alvan Clarke refractor.
