This is not much to go on. Could you take some pictures and email them to us? Based on your description, it sounds like an Edmund or Criterion mount. The "Pewter" is cast aluminum. A clock drive shouldn't be too difficult to add. You may have to make some brackets out of aluminum stock. I've seen NOS Edmund clock drive kits offered by Teletrade and Telescope Warehouse. The companies are listed on Astromart's website. www.astromart.com The important thing you need to know is what is the diameter of the RA shaft. I'm guessing it's one inch in diameter.
